In the picture it looks like there's a gaping hole where the bar fits in; has anyone noticed water collecting there?

I just received my rod and there are not rubber grommets nor a reference to them in the well documented instruction manual. There are indeed, some gaping holes. It does not look horrible, but it is a bit disappointing.

Do you need a larger/wider shower curtain or does a standard size curtain fit?

My standard curtain works just great. But, I have a standard size shower. If yours is longer then you may. The pole will expand to fit the shower.

Anyone having any trouble getting the rod to firm up on tile? Drywall is fine. It flops downward on the tile. Thanks

Just finished building our home. Very farmhouse style... this looked like the perfect rod for the hall bath... what a Complete flop, will not stay up no matter what we do, & we are not drilling through brand new tile. Wish I had read the reviews,

what is the diameter of the end piece? i only have about 2 inch clearance and this looks like it might be 3 inches round
