iCrimp IWS-1226D Crimping Tools Works for Raychem TE MiniSeal Low Profile Environmental Splices M81824/1-XX from AWG 26-12

Bought it for a student project. Crimp quality seems as good as the higher priced MIL Spec crimper for environmental splices.

These crimpers are superior to the high cost DMC crimpers for a fraction of the cost. I have used my friends crimpers of the same model for quite some time now and have never had an issue. In fact, they crimp easier than the DMC's. 10/10 would recommend to any electrician in the aviation community.

Good quality, however tool is set up to crimp both sides of the splice at the same time which is almost never done in the field. I plan to grind off one set of "bumps" in order to make the tool easier to use.

I've purchased a *lot* of crimpers and this is absolutely the first pair that properly crimped splices for 22 gauge and smaller butt splices.Everything else I've ever purchased had a fine collection of slots that were either too big or not the right crimp for un-insulated butt splices.These make perfect crimps in small butt splices with thin wire, and the crimp holds perfectly.

Well made, Crimping action great. Small size for easier access.

This tool works great for Raychem wire splices. A very high quality tool for the price.

Shorter more useful than the original Raychem style crimpers. Wonderful tool
