Found the perfect replacement backpack!
I love this bag! Ordinarily would not spend this much on a backpack. BUT this one is worth every dollar. Laptop compartment easily large enough to accommodate both 15”MacBook and iPad. Padding is absolutely fantastic. Decent amount of pockets for Knick knacks. Sturdy exterior, stylish, zipper of superior quality, and ease of adjusting the straps by the pull of a tab. I especially love the reinforced pocket for glasses and the fact that this bag stands up when placed on ground. If I just had to find one negative, it would have to be that I would have liked to have a second exterior pocket on the lower half ( but perhaps that have compromised its ability the stand up?).For me, the value of a thing is if it were stolen or lost, would I purchase another one. And my answer is yes!

Use this professionally
I work in medical sales and was tired of the old branded backpacks my employer sends me. Night and day difference in quality and how much this backpack can hold. Even more important is when it is loaded up it stays balanced on my back for comfort.TWO year update- shocked at how well this bag has held up. It goes with me in the field every day and hardly shows any wear. Normally I replace my bag about this time every year but I bet I can get another two out of this one.

Heavy duty laptop bag
I bought this bag about six months ago and use it to travel around the world with both a Dell Laptop and a 14” MacBook Pro. I can also fit either my wireless Magic Keyboard or a portable external monitor. Plenty of useful pockets for accessories, passport and other essentials. Side zippers are a little awkward, but not a big deal. When loaded with gear this bag will not fit under the seat in front of you unless traveling business class. Needs to go in the overhead bin. I love the bag.

Fits my Razer Blade 18
This is a great backpack. I was concerned about my 18 inch laptop fitting in the sleeve but it fits perfectly.

Update: Found the waterproof cover
Update: the waterproof is in a pocket on the bottom of the bag. It’s relatively hidden, but it works to store the cover without taking any space inside the bag.Update number 2: I returned this bag for two reasons. First, the laptop compartment requires you to move the shoulder straps to get in/out of that compartment. It’s really a PITA. Second, in the side pockets for water bottles, there is a really sharp part that connects to the buckle on the outside of those pockets. So, whenever I wanted to reach in there, it poked my hand/finger and I got tired of that really fast.Original review below this line:The bag itself is heavy. Not crazy heavy, but as you start packing your stuff in it adds up quick. I haven’t even put in a computer yet, and it’s pretty hefty. However, I understand that it does use thick material and it’s a pretty sizable bag.It claims it’s for traveling, but it doesn’t really have any way to conveniently pack anything but “work stuff” like tablets, computers, cables, papers, etc. despite that, there are very few pen/pencil slots, and the ones they do have are open on the bottom requiring you to need a pen that has a clip. There are a lot of different sized pockets and pouches, but the outside side pockets advertised for water bottles, don’t really accommodate much. They’re not very deep, they’re not stretchy, and they’re kind of grippy. So, even if you have a water bottle that fits, it’s a chore to store/retrieve it.The computer and tablet pockets are super soft. However, the pouches in that compartment are tight against the computer pouch making them pretty much useless. The main compartment has pouches that would be better suited in the computer/tablet compartment. Finally, for the cost of this bag, I would expect expert construction, but instead I have a few seams which need trimming and some reinforcement with fray check to stop them from unraveling.I like this bag in premise, but not sure I like it in execution. I’m going to try it out for a few days and see if I decide to keep it.

I really liked this bag in the first month, then things started breaking
This bag is really well made, on the surface. The first thing that broke was the water bottle strap. I put a bottle in, pulled the tab tight, and the stitching in the strap completely failed.I love the big zippers, they worked great, for about a year. Now the inside of the zipper run on the laptop pocket is frayed to the point of jamming the zipper whenever I try to close it.My last laptop bag travelled the word with me and it lasted for 14 years. It cost me 20 dollars. This bag has started failing within 14 months. It cost me hundreds of dollars...
