Worked so well last year I ordered two more sets.
Wife is deadly afraid of hornets so we are always trying to figure out ways to keep the elevated and lower level deck areas free of them. These items seem to do a great job of keeping the decks a lot clearer from the hornets. We use a cider / beer mix and the hornets seem to love it. Just a little messy filling and emptying out the units, but if you are careful, after a few liquid changes you get the hang of it. One bad point was that there was always at least one live hornet in the trap with the dozen dead ones when we went to empty it, so my wife made me empty it every time!

Easily broken
Very thin plastic. Pop apart very easily. Very easy to break.

They work.
I like that these are small and I can hang them from tree branches and an under eaves. They filled up with wasps with no time. I used a piece of raw chicken for bait and it worked very well.

Works great!
Very easy to use and wasps were attracted immediately. Only issue was that one of the three in the pack was disassembled and the bottom doesn't fit very securely, which is a little scary when dealing with angry wasps! I just have kept that one on the ground and it works fine. They work very well!

Maybe too good....?
This trap really works. Even when the water has dried up and crystallized, they keep coming. The hard part about having this trap is to try and find it without a live wasp inside so I can clean it. Right now there is about ten live ones in there and about five buzzing around to get inside. Since I have 7 hummingbird feeders up....I needed a distraction for the wasps we were getting on the feeders. This had helped. Will buy more.

More than worth the money
These are the best wasp traps that I have ever had. Not only does it trap wasps, but also flies and even a few mosquitos. The only drawback is that the are a little fraggle in high wind. I just bought my second set of these traps. I will be deploying them at the places that I could not get to with the first set. I used a can of frozen apple juice mixed with cans of water at the correct mixture and then added a lot of sugar to make the juice even sweeter. That seems to work to be the attractant. After it dries, I wash out the traps into a garbage disposal. I have been using just enough juice to cover the bottom of the trap to 1/4 inch, which seems to work just fine.

It Works - Sort of, But Not Well
We have yellowjackets in the area that like to dig in, and while normally able to get after their nests, one particularly robust one was not really accessible buried under foliage to block spraying, so we went to traps as an alternative. The traps come in a box ready to go, and they are simple to setup simply hanging them and preparing a basic sugary bait. Unfortunately, the trap either does not actually attract the pests or they are escaping regularly. In this case, the trap is only a few yards from a known large nest of what appears to be several dozen or more yellow jackets (see photo). It is at the right height and should be drawing them in regularly, but the results have been poor to non-existent.Placing it close to the nest at a lower level at first led to no results, and then moving it to the recommended height again led to zero trapped yellow jackets in the first week there. It finally did trap 3 of them but it seems to be best at trapping other insects instead of the desired prey. This may work for some, and it did indeed catch a few, but with dozens of them only yards away and not getting trapped, this is not an effective solution.

Love these wasp traps
When the 3 traps arrived, one appeared to be broken. But the seller advised me to try snapping them together again and, sure enough, it was fine. I very much like the fact that the traps have a solid bottom, as earlier ones I've bought have seams that sometimes leak. I've been using traps of this type for 2 summers now and they are great for reducing the number of wasps, yellowjackets, houseflies and gnats in your yards. And what's great is I've never yet seen a honeybee in one. Hint: bait them with the cheapest apple juice you can find.
