Quality olives
These are delicious. I was slightly put off at first as I was with the last type of castelvetrano I tried but you have to expect a difference in olives even within the same type. They weren’t quite as mild and buttery as others but I grew to appreciate them especially for the price. I just separate them into sterilized canning jars with brine for future use. If any olive is too salty just replace a quarter of the brine with fresh water and wait a few days. Adjust to your liking but keep in mind shelf life will be decreased so only do that to what you can eat within a few weeks. Also unpitted olives are alway better if you have the choice and don’t mind pitting.

Best Castelvetrano Olives I’ve EVER Had!
Like the title says, these are the best Castelvetrano olives I’ve ever had. I could even drink the brine. They are smooth, nutty, crisp yet tender, and perfectly salty. If someone says they don’t like olives, they simply haven’t tried these yet. The giant can, when divided, fits perfectly into five take-out soup containers, which I also bought on here. I will never buy another brand, so I hope this company never goes out of business. Even though there are about 500 olives in this can, it doesn’t seem to be enough 😉PS-the first can was severely dented from shipping (not the manufacturer’s fault, of course) and Amazon immediately sent a replacement. GREAT product support.

Poor Quality and Flavor
Served these Olives to guests several times. Comments are that these Olives are mushy and have musty flavor.

Healthy great tasting Sicilian olives
These olives are excellent tasting and are exceptionally easy to use for a variety of culinary dishes. Purchasing this size can might be daunting for some, but I repack into smaller Mason jars and refrigerate. I eat these olives every day as a snack, but they can be used in so many different ways (I also use them to cook with). The larger size also has the advantage of costing less per pound. My only complaint is purchasing them for $41/can and when I’m ready to purchase again, the price increases to between $54-$56/can.

Amazing quality
I have bought this so many times on repeat for my charcuterie board business. If you hate olives. You should try these. I am not a fan of olives, and I absolutely adore these. I only use these on my charcuterie boards in an all my classes. These are really high-quality and your customers or yourself all of them. They are vibrant, green, and very fresh. I also love they can they come in which is irrelevant. I wish I could somehow find a way to use it to decorate lol.

Damaged cans
These olives are great. I’ve been ordering them for quite some time. The cans arrive damaged virtually every time when I order from Amazon. So far I haven’t had any that leak but they are difficult to open when the edges of the cans are crumpled. I don’t have this issue when I order direct from the producer. It’s all about Amazon’s poor packaging practices. However, the olives are awesome for a serious olive lover!

What you need to know...
Good Sicilian Olives, and a lot of them - though the pitted ones are a little mushier than the ones with the seeds, so I find I prefer the whole ones - and the price keeps going up, up, up every time I order them...3x what it used to be... !!...still...Recommended.
