Good product, looks cool
These paddles work just fine. I like the metal finish, it feels cold to the touch. I like the fact that they are longer than stock on the VW GTI, which makes it easier to shift gears when turning the wheel.However, the sticky pads provided in the box are not great, too thin to apply correctly. I added a strip of 3M double sided tape to the adhesive pad to basically double its thickness and was able to attach it much more securely. Also, it is important to apply correctly and not pull on the paddles hard to adjust them so as to prevent breaking them.

*UPDATE* original review below this one. As I was driving I pressed the right paddle shifter and it flung right off. I’m happy I didn’t lose control. Maybe if it was super glued but the 3M stinks.Gives the car the perfect look and it’s so much easier to use the paddle shifters now

I love it! The MK6 GTI should’ve came with metal paddle shifters like these instead of the plastic one. Extremely easy to install. The quality is amazing! I went with the black paddles for a more “stealth” look.

These are pretty dope. They’re easy to install and look really good. Use the wipes they provide to help with adhesion.
