Great for silver hair
I’ve used this for chemically treated hair. When C-19 hit the world, I went al natural first my nails, then make-up, & finally hair.I researched shampoo for silver/grey hair and everything I was reading said “purple” shampoo, any brand, best. Well, blue malva is purple! I get a lot of compliments on my hair color. And as other reviews note, this large container lasts forever. And while it has no preservatives, it really doesn’t go bad. I’ve had this one since 2021.. (3 yrs)!

Growing out my silver
I’m growing out my silver hair. My older colored hair is brown & it starts getting brassy looking. I get clear glosses once a month to help with that & was always told to use purple shampoo in between, which leaves my hair looking white & not how I want it. So…. I bought this & love it! This shampoo is amazing! It feels great & lathers nice, it goes down the drain clear & my hair looks really good! It blends the demarcation line great & tones my silvers to a really pretty color silver & tones the dark brown, it works great for all the colors on my hair! Buy it!

Best shampoo for greying, dry, thick, wavy/curly hair.
I just bought this shampoo with the conditioner. It's the first shampoo that I've used where the scent wasn't overpowering and that didn't leave my hair feeling like straw. My hair felt soft and easier to manage after shampooing and conditioning. It didn't get rid of all the frizz but it seems more manageable and less frizzy even the day after shampooing. In terms of yellowing: My hair looks brighter and shinier but the shampoo didn't remove the yellow left from other shampoos and conditioners in the lower strands of my long hair. I'm hoping after a few months of washing with Aveda, the yellowed lower strands will get brighter and more silvery. Overall, best shampoo and conditioner I've used thus far.

ONE OF THE BEST SHAMPOOS FOR THISE OF US WHO LOVE OUR NATURAL WHITE OR SILVER HAIR. TAKES THE YELLOW OUT.
