Great for chicken coop!
I put one of these little fans in the chicken coop to help with the airflow during our hotter months in NC. It can get brutal here, and even though we have great venting in our coop, it was still hotter in the coop than out until I put this little guy in there! I have it on top of the roof's hardware cloth and pointing slightly down, so the air flows across the coop and out through their window. Since installing this fan, the air is consistently about 2-3° cooler, and the humidity level is lower than outside as well. That might not sound like a huge difference, but when my girls have stopped panting at night as a result, I call that a huge WIN!

Quiet fan
Works great. Quiet on the low setting.

Sweet little Muffin
Dig these 1238s a lot! Solid price, robust aluminum frame, mounting hardware, grill guards and power cord. I upgraded to a dual fan setup with speed control for a project when I thought one was enough, and that’s what I like about these too, very easy to upgrade and configure. I didn’t have to clip strip and heat shrink anything. They run so quiet and worked right out the box. I have other products of theirs and all just feel so premium. I feel like I need to make up projects so I had an excuse to get more to use haha. These fans at this price help so much for low budget diy projects. Listing the specs and everything also very helpful, will suggest to anyone in need of a fan for their project. I’m truly a fan… of these fans… 😅

Great fan. You’ll want the version with the speed controller though.
I really like this fan, but I should have ordered it with the variable speed controller. I purchased this item without the speed controller and I found it was far too loud for my application. Then I ordered the speed controller which arrived today. Hooked it up. Now I have complete control and can modulate the speed and the noise. It’s cheaper when you buy them as a kit rather than separately.Just know that without the speed controller, this fan is very loud.

Great fan if you desire MAXIMUM air flow (and don't mind maximum NOISE!)
If performance and air flow are what you're looking for, this fan had the highest CFM that I found in this footprint. Unfortunately it was too loud for my application! I used this fan to replace the cheaply made fan that came in my under cabinet mini-fridge. The original fan was a clunky AC motor with a poorly balanced plastic fan pressed onto the motors shaft and it would shift around in it's mounting bracket and start making a HORRIBLE grinding noise as the imbalanced blades would bang up against the metal fan shroud.I had to 3D print a custom bracket to mount it to the frame of the fridge, and it worked PERFECTLY. It was extremely well balanced, and it moved a TON more air than the OE fan did. The only problem was, because it's a high-speed, high-airflow fan, the motor noise was too loud for a mini fridge which often runs for long periods of time in a quiet room. It was so loud that I could hear it from my bedroom while it was running in my quiet kitchen! So I replaced it with another AC infinity with similar specs, except it's the "quiet" model LS1238. This fan is 47 dba, and the quiet version is only 32 dba. It moves a bit less air, but more than enough to cool off the compressor and move air over the radiator, and it's much more quiet! The LS1238 when installed in the back of the fridge, and the fridge is pushed into it's cubby in our island, the sound is similar to that of a laptop that's running warm and who's fans are running at full speed. (You can tell it's running, but not so loud that it's annoying) Whereas the high CFM version was approximately the equivalent to a large computer server, or a welder that's powered on but sitting idle (not actually welding) This is fine for a server or piece of shop equipment, but not for a small refrigerator running in your kitchen all night.I've purchased and used a half dozen AC Infinity fans from their axial/muffin fans, to their 12" inline duct fans, and I LOVE them.. and wouldn't use ANY other brand for a line-voltage fan. (For 12/24 volt DC case fans, I use Noctura) But for anything high voltage, I HIGHLY recommend AC Infinity!

My second of these
I’m a light sleeper and these fans definitely help. They are quite loud and block out a lot of background noise. I’ve tried while noise machines, but they are at a higher frequency, so they don’t block out as much in my experience

Powerful little exhaust fan
Wow ❣️ This little guy is amazing. It's mounted on one of two shed air vents.I have to keep my handicapped mobility scooter and all terrain electric wheelchair in this shed. Lithium batteries must be kept cool.Product draws the hot air to the outside even though it's so tiny.Low noise. It's appearance is perfect. It draws the air from the outside through 2nd vent located 12' away.My air conditioner is now able to run less & keep my handicapped medical devices cooler.Fan is mounted to the vent opposite from the outdoor prevailing wind. Here in the desert that's the south wind. Yesterday was another 110° day and the shed was so much cooler. Its versatility is helpful. Though I won't need the product for 6 months each year, I am thrilled to have it for these hot AZ days and nights.I highly recommend this little guy fan.
