Q: Does this salt have iodine?

Our salt DOES have iodine in it! There is a statement on the front of the package that states it does not contain IodiDE which often confuses people. Our iodine is naturally occurring. Yes. This salt comes from a dry ancient salt deposit under the surface of a mountain, not from a current ocean source.

Q: will it go through a normal salt shaker?

Yes. This is fine salt which is table salt. It will work in any normal shaker.

Q: What is all the undissolved crunchy stuff? It's really unpleasant

Not all of the naturally occurring trace minerals in the salt dissolve in water. A tsp of the salt when dissolved in water will leave a pinch of solids. They’ve never bothered me.
