Went against the bad reviews and so far so good! Easy fix and easy on the wallet!
Product works as expected. I waited over 1 month to post a review as I wanted to make sure this cheaper version of the original drain pump worked properly. The issue I had with my original Samsung top load washing machine was that it would not drain the tub after wash cycle. The original pump was making a lot of noise but not functioning as it should. After reading the reviews I had mixed feelings about this aftermarket pump, but decided what the hell do I have to lose on a 12 year old washing machine. The replacement was easy to complete and only took about 20 minutes. My wife washes clothes almost daily in our house, so after about 50 washes this pump I still going strong. I'd recommend this product if you have the same issue I was having. 👍

I think my old pump was getting weak because it didn't always create enough pressure to open the check valve. I would use my shot vac on the drain hose for a second to open the valve and it would pump fine. This one worked for an empty test load, then on the first actual load it did the same thing. I ordered a new check valve, but now the new pump won't always run and when it does it rattles like crazy. I removed the check valve and put the old pump back in. When the new check valve gets here I'll find out if it was the pump or the old rubber check valve was just sticking.

Second motor
My first motor lasted just over one year. The impeller failed. Don’t see this one lasting much longer but could not get one shipped faster than Amazon had to get it before my repair guy left out of town . Will get Samsung motor next time the original motor lasted 13 years.
