Very Interesting!
Excellent if you are academically inclined and interested in research. If not perhaps flip to the activities. I am enjoying reading every page and wondering the best way to start with my twins and their playgroups. Some good instruction on musical phases as we may tend to get ahead of ourselves with wee ones. Also as a primary school teacher, interesting to know what works for babies and toddlers and what are the beginnings of music for babies, not just songs and imitation.

The Review
This book was for my daughter. She is a sophmore at the University of South Carolina. This was a required book, that has been something she uses regularly, so yes, it was exactly what she needed, and will use in the future.

but have recommended it numerous times since to teachers
I use what I learned from this book all the time in my library storytimes. I got this for a class, but have recommended it numerous times since to teachers, librarians, and parents!

No C.D.
Doesn't come with the CD for the Book as advertised. Which is very disappointing! I was waiting for a break in school to take the time to read and download everything only to find out that I have to purchase the CD separately.
