Easy to install, looks just like the stock handle.

Ordered this right rear (passenger) side replacement door handle after the "factory" unit broke while opening the door recently. The replacement unit arrived quickly and looked to be an identical match to the OEM unit. It took about 30 minutes from start to completion, and after installing the unit unit the door opened and closed properly and the replacement unit looked as good the OEM unit.Not exactly an "easy" DIY job, but with a little patience it's a job most will find worth the effort. My biggest issue was removing the door panel, which was made more difficult by those pesky retainer fasteners that did NOT want to come out! I was eventually able to pop them loose using a large, flat blade screwdriver, and after removing the door panel the rest was actually pretty straightforward. Oh, and watching a couple of YouTube videos definitely helped! ;-)

I have not replaced yet but looks like product is a quality part and will work out well.

When it comes to a 10 year old vehicle, a $230 factory or a $20 aftermarket. With right tools in hand > 1/2 hour replacement. Lighter than factory but the factory broke a plastic part that drives the release bar. If this breakes within the next year I'll update this review.

I am periodically replacing on my 2008 Cadillac Escalade ESV. Bad design and execution. Dealers charge outrageous price for part and install. Up to $300 or more so this handle and your own efforts provide a pretty good value for about $20 bucks. However, if my Cadillac was in great condition and had fewer miles, I would not be at all satisfied with the quality of this part. There is some flashing on the top edge of the handle which ended up going through the vacuum metalizing process which shows through on the finished product. That would not have passed GM quality assurance standards but for the price and the age of my truck, it's "good enough"!

These handles are notorious for breaking because people snatch them the wrong direction, these handles are just as good as the original ones and I do recommend these door handles.
