It actually works!
Waited to write this review until I had another DEXA scan. Happy to report that my bone density improved quite a bit - 6% in my spine and 2% in one hip. The other hip was unchanged. I now have osteopenia in just one area rather than three. Good progress for one year!

Like the slow-release feature
I've been taking this calcium supplement for just a few months so I can't attest to any results just yet. I'm 80 years old and never took a calcium supplement until now I like the time release aspect of the supplement. The pill is too big to swallow so I break it in half. A simple solution.

Frail bones?
If you have frail bones and need calcium this is the best on the market.

Tablet size is very large
I have used this medicine regularly, and I felt difference in my joint pain, the only negative thing is that the Tablet size is very large and it’s hard to swallow.

Why take 2 or more a day when you can take 1?
Love the time release aspect. 1 pill , not 2 or three.

Very convenient
I love this calcium supplement because of its slow release. Our bodies can only use a certain amount of calcium at a time, and I would never remember to take another tablet midday. I take this in the morning when I brush my teeth, and I don’t have to think about it for the rest of the day.

Had trouble with calcium pills upsetting my stomach. Take it every day and no problem with Citracal.
