Can I put a car wheel (taken off of the car) on here to aid in cleaning? Are the rollers high enough that the width of the wheel wont rub the sides?

Will this work for bicycle's 18" wheel?

It depends on how you intend to use it. This device is basically a tool for motorcycle maintenance. It will not work as a means of converting a bicycle into an in-place exercise bike. The bicycle wheel will very quickly roll off the stand.

Will this work for car tire off the car for detailing?

This CAN be used on AUTO tires OFF the vehicle of course.....(can't believe some folks think you're gonna drive a car onto these.....SMH)

I have a heavy sport bike (hayabusa). Do you think the stand will shimmy on the floor when I try to get the back wheel on it?

Reza, Technically the stand should work. Its a matter of how you get on it. I have mine placed on top of a rubber mat. Its does not move. I have had no issues from the time I bought mine who is few years now. My suggestion is either push the bike on if you can; other wise ride on slowly if for front wheel or rear wheel use. Good Luck.
