Q: can this hold liquid?

There is a rubber sealing ring between the main body and top. It may be possible to hold liquid in tubular lower section. Try ,say some water first . Recommend not screwing two half's to tightly together and test . Also it depends what liquid you intend to use . It may perish the sealing ring between upper and lower section . Regards

I wouldn't wear mine in the shower,although it has a sealed cap ,if it leaked them all is lost just take it off
