I have two disintegrating discs from a severe whip lash car accident 40 plus years ago. I go to the chiropractorweekly and do Iyengar yoga. Even with all of this I have a stiff and often painful neck, upper spine and side body. My chiropractor suggested that neck traction may also be helpful. I tried out some in his office and then studied the ones available on-line. I consider this the best choice (plus the price is reasonable): 1) I can lie down as a use it. 2) the fact that I can pump up the rubber part that is on the neck works well and I can adjust it as needed. Two easy modifications I do --- I place a yoga mat piece so that the metal bar doesn't push onto my back as much. and 2) I use a yoga strap to keep my head in place instead of the one provided.I have only had it a week. I begin using it for one minute per day and I have increased gradually to 4 minutes. My chiropractor suggests I work up to 15 minutes a day and I plan to do that,I already have pain relief and my chiropractor adjusted me yesterday and he too felt a difference.

I have had my neck stretched at the physical therapist for my pinched nerve and it helped so I bought this product for home use. It seems like I can't position my neck on the unit in the proper place (I am a small woman) to get a proper stretch without pain. I watched the video to try to position myself correctly (there is no diagram provided) but each time if feels like the spine is not stretched but the muscles are stretched and cause pain the shoulders and shoulder blades. I have also had a headache everyday since starting to use this product. I gave it a couple of weeks and realized it needed to go back.

I had to push the top part of it down to keep it flat on the floor while I was using it. I’m going to mount it to something that I can partially lay on to help hold it down.

In June 2019 I was diagnosed with one disc that is fully dehydrated and the two discs around them were severely herniated. I was in agony. A friend recommended this device, and had one to try. I did it regularly and started to see the benefits. When he went on vacation, I needed to get my own! I can't say enough. I was debilitated for months with severe pain, numbness, and circulation problems. I was taking muscle relaxers and ibuprofen 24-7, and taking Oxy to boot (something I've never liked, but it actually worked on this pain.) This fixed it. In June, the doctors wanted to fuse 4 vertebrae for $65K. I started using this that month, almost daily for 5-10 minutes, sometimes more. This saved me from the surgery. Its now October, and I do it 5-10 minutes a couple times a week when I feel tingling to prevent recurrence. Its a lifesaver. I love that moment when the muscles and nerves relax. I almost fall asleep every time. Within a week I was finished with Oxy and the muscle relaxers. I haven't taken a muscle relaxer, ibuprofen or Oxy since early July. Highly recommend if you have spinal stenosis. Its such an easy and cheap fix.PS. It fixed my friend too.

I feel like this will help after several weeks of use. As of now my neck has a lot of correction needed and it hurts, which is supposed to eventually stop.

I was having a tingling sensation in my arm and around shoulder blade , I tried massages and ice packs around back of neck, acheiving some success. I saw this item and purchased it for some added relief. It did help but was a little awkward to administer, the strap is made to fit around most heads, and I could definitely feel the stretch in my neck and have used this many times for added relief, I would recommend this device for mild to moderate neck pain...
