Replace the battery and continue to use a GPS that has an earphone jack. New ones usually don't come with one.

Difficult to install
The battery ports that plug into my Garmin were impossible to seat into the unit and eventually broke off. I never was able to get this battery installed and I wasted my money. The section where I was trying to seat the connectors wasn't damaged, because my old battery came off them with no issues. I just couldn't get the battery connectors to latch on to the device. It was like they were too large for where I need to connect them. It was very frustrating. Battery is in the garbage now.
