So after much contemplation, placing this into my save for later file and looking at the pros, cons, reviews etc I ultimately took the gamble and purchased this rug.After having it a few months, I felt it the right time to put a review of my experiences with this item. Initially I thought the rug was a little light considering the size. However this has not been an issue due to the small scale of my living room and as such weighted the rug down with furniture. On the plus side the exposed corner does not lift when being vacuumed.I will reiterate the rug is beautiful and the flecks of sparkle have received many a compliment, however the texture is not fluffy. I would describe it more like a rag rug. My son has ASD and loves sensory stimulation and as a result loves to role in it. It is comfortable on your feet and warms up the room. But as a consequence, due to material, cleaning it can be a bit of an obstacle especially if you have pets who sneak in treats and eat it on the rug. Though the vacuum does work on it, you never cease to find something hidden within its fibres ie stow away lego or a partially consumed pigs ear.Overall, am I pleased with this purchase? I would say so.

The colour is same as photo. It states cream/ivory but it's more champagne colour. Perfect for me. Size is exact. Feels silky and plush. I love how the sun catches the sparkly bits. Has a thick cotton underside, it took 8hrs to settle and lay flat as it came rolled and bent in two. Luxurious and worth the money.

Ok so where do I start. Worst buy from Amazon ever and believe me I’ve bought so many things. I bought this rug less than a year ago. After about 3 months it started matting really bad. At first it looks lovely and you’re so happy and you feel like you’ve made the perfect purchase. Ever so soft…Then the problem starts. After one week all the strands ( don’t know what to call them) starts to come off and you are literally picking them off the floor everywhere in the house every single day. It’s so frustrating. I’m surprised I even have a carpet left. In all honesty I’m about to buy a new one because this one looks so disgusting and believe me when I tell you I’m a clean freak. I clean my house every day. I do cleaning as a job. This carpet does not look like this because I didn’t maintain it. It looks like this because it’s cheap. Don’t buy it. Save your money and buy something better.

Rug looks lovely and the sparkly bits catch the light, however, the backing is very thin, it's like walking directly on the floor, as such, we bought some underlay to go underneath and that did make a big difference.

Arrived quickly, so soft and looks great highly recommend.

This rug is gorgeous the colours are lovely. If you like sparkle this is the rug for you. The quality is very good for the price. Looks beautiful down.
