Amoretti Premium Dulce de Leche Syrup (750mL)

I was all into the regular coffee syrups but when I saw these 'crema' versions I thought I'd give them a try. The difference is like night and day...these are phenomenal!They're much smoother, thicker and creamier than 'regular' syrups, so you can use them a zillion different ways. This particular vanilla is awesome on everything from ice cream to fruit....it's so versatile. The crema caramel is my fave though...there's pretty much nothing I won't put it on.lol (Just an fyi, add the caramel one to a k cup of hot apple cider and it's like liquid apple pie!!)The bottle is even really pretty and fancy. Everyone at work is totes jealous...I'm like, "People, it's just coffee syrup!"LOL But for people who don't use or know about syrups, this looks pretty big-time :)As painful as it is to say it, the price is ok...although it is definitely not as cheap as Monin or Torani..but again, you get what you pay for. This stuff is so addictively creamy and yummy, I'll splurge.lol

Taste absolutely delicious, it’s my favorite so far!

This is the first Amoretti syrup I have purchased. I am a frequent purchaser of the popular "other brand" of coffee/flavoring syrups. I agree with what the other reviewer said: This is not a flavoring syrup as much as it would lend itself to being a dessert topping or sauce. It is extremely thick. Also, that said, it is not particularly creamy and certainly not creamy in a sweet milk or cream or caramel sort of way.. at all. This was disappointing. The picture shown on this product definitely does not bear resemblance to the actual product, at least not of the dulce de leche. The sauce is very thick and smooth but I would not call it creamy. It definitely appears and tastes like a high-quality product. However, it also tastes strongly of amaretto. I mean, like amaretto with a hint of caramel thrown in for fun. That is my primary, well really my only, dislike of this product. I cannot stand the flavor of amaretto. Had I known this product flavor was going to taste more like amaretto and not at all like what I expected for dulce de leche, I would not have purchased it and probably would have purchased another flavor. The inclusion of a pump with the bottle is truly refreshing and appreciated, a very nice touch, and an example from which other premium syrup makers and sellers could and should learn, in my opinion. Again, the product itself is really good, if you like the flavor. Someone who likes the flavor of amaretto would surely adore this syrup. But, for this reason, it was not for me.

the syrup does not disperse in coffee-just sit at the bottom. I'll try it on ice cream-maybe. It has a bitter aftertaste.

Although a little higher priced than other flavored syrups the thick consistency and the outstanding flavor make the price worth it. Vanilla is the second flavor I ordered after purchasing Butterscotch. I’ve used the vanilla in a martini and the butterscotch to drizzle over ice before pouring a caramel whiskey. Both were outstanding.

If you are the type of person that like their coffee/drinks very sweet (AKA loves standard Starbucks flavored drinks) then you would probably like this.I typically like my coffee with just a hint of flavor because I really enjoy the flavor of coffee and would like to actually taste it so it was way too sweet for me. As an example, if I do go to Starbucks, I typically ask for half the amount of flavoring in their drinks. My sister absolutely loved this syrup and when she goes to Starbucks, she asks for extra flavoring. Hopefully that will help you figure out the range you are in!

Not really what I expected. It has a burnt bitter taste. It does have the caramel taste, but it just doesn't taste right. I probably should of went with the tres Leche or white chocolate. Kind of disappointed

This has a great flavor and doesn't take much. Large bottle about the size of a wine bottle. 3 yr date so you have time to finish it. Best thing is they include a pump. Worth it.
