I've used drierite in the past to keep refrigerated chemicals from collecting condensation at my work, so when I started having moisture problems in my safe, I immediately thought of drierite. There are probably more convenient ways of using a desiccant, but I just pour the drierite onto a plate, stick in the safe, the pull out once a week to bake out the moisture.

The bottle of Drierite 500G was reasonably priced, very well packaged, and arrived before its expected delivery date. As the bottle is glass, I transported it wrapped in its original plastic wrapping for use in research work in Ghana. The dissecant pellets were added to plastic ziplock bags to preserve cotton filters used in research work. The pellets maintained their original blue color and worked well in preservation of the research filters for analysis in the USA.I recommend this seller and will look to them if this product is again needed for future work.

I live near the ocean and the house and closets are always damp ...this stuff works really great for absorbing the dampness. I pour it in little cotton bags and hang it from a couple of hangers.

Because of my low usage I like the small containers. I keep a spare bottle and reorder when I am down to one. It stays active for a long time.

I use this for drying and storing Black Trumpet mushrooms. It works amazingly, and is very easy to re-charge by laying on a sheet pan and baking in an oven until returned to its blue color. The bottle keeps the desiccant free from moisture. Because this is reusable it is worth the price.
