Quality RV Electrical Panel
Nice quality RV electrical box. If you want to do it right the first time get this box. No sharp edges, well thought out design.

great box with tough knockouts
Put this in my barn for my coach. I like having the options of the amps I'm plugging in and the ability to kill the breaker before I plug in. The box is built very well and wired very neatly. The Knockouts would not budge so I ended up putting in the hole size I need for my install.

There is a lot right with this panel and in my opinion, a few area for improvement.
First of all this looks like a good panel at a good price. It is nice that the door has a bump out large enough so it can be closed around most RV power plugs. There is a wiring diagram showing the electrical wire usage.I just installed it so I do not have any history on how it will hold up over time. However there are a few things which could be improved on in my opinion. The screws on the terminal strips do not contact all of the strands of my #6 THWN wires. Some of the metal supports inside the box are a little sharp, making it easy to damage the insulation of the feed wires. The wiring diagram shows the red feed wire (typically L2) coming in on the left (typically L1 location) but shows a red wire going to the right side of the receptacle and connected to the right feed lug. In the panel, both wires going to the 50 amp receptacle are black. If you are an electrician this should not confuse you but for others it may not be so clear. A possible partial solution is to reverse the Red/Black names of the feed wires on the diagram. There is not a large diameter knockout in the center of the bottom of the panel. My panel is in and seems to working fine.

Excellently built Ready to use.
Looking at Home Depot / Lowes and several other electrical companys. This was a little more exspensive. However, compared to those in the other stores, this was "READY TO USE". Meaning you did not have to wire in the 20, 30 and 50 AMP plugs. It was all set. Which I like that. In the end, the cost was about the same more or less. Taking into consideration when you add piece mealing a box with all 3 and then wiring them. The cost would be more if you count your time involved, without any warranty.Maybe they will include with a upgraded version. The attic gofor person. LOL
