Bosch is not a Bosch anymore
I am so disappointed by the quality of them. I have been waiting for delivery few weeks (out of stock when ordered) and they cost me more than 50 quid. Pads came just in the cardboard box without any additional wrapping (Ferodo, Brembo... they all have it). So they produced a lot of brake dust inside the box rubbing each other the whole way from China. Yes, you read that properly, they are actually made in China! Goodbye old, reliable, German Bosch...As some of you may know brake dust contain toxic substances and heavy metals. Try to read included manual covered in toxic dust without inhaling it.I gave up!I also discovered that the pads are 2mm short comparing to the OEM spec (Ferodo FDB4136, Brembo P 83 071 = 17.6mm thickness, Bosch 0986494174 = 15.5mm!)The final nail to the coffin.They don't look like the Amazon picture. Forget antivibration rubber pads pictured. You will get just bare pads.I will rather spend my money on safety parts that actually are made by the company, not only stamped by a brand logo.I went with Ferodo Premier Eco Friction eventually. Much less heavy metals and improved wet braking. They make brakes since 1897!
