Colavita Extra Virgin Olive Oil in Tin, 3L Tin

Discovered this olive oil while watching an Italian cook on the Food Network. Tried it, and have never looked back. Great taste, and excellent for cooking. Since using this oil, we very seldom use vegetable oil. This is the third or fourth time we have ordered. Good price, and the tin is easy to store. Highly recommended!

Colavita Olive Oil stands above the rest in taste and quality. I have been using this olive oil primarily for seasoning foods and use a different brand for cooking. The only issue I continue to have is the poor packaging by the seller. Every can I have received has been damaged/dented. Hope they work on their packaging!

While the can came deformed, not sure if it was banged up during the shipment to me, or was in a condition not for retail sale, so sold at a discount online, either way, I love what is inside and it is the real deal. Grateful.

At first I was disappointed with this order because the Tin was a little different - I've been buying these for years - still green with the tree but didn't have the same writing 'Premium and First Pressed' and such... But the olive oil is awesome... This tin said 'product of Italy' and 'only olives from Italy' and I'm reading that's the best it can be...

I was looking for a good quality yet moderately priced evoo and his fits. Has that slight bit of spicy after taste. Will be purchasing again .

This is olive oil. Three liters of it. I personally like Colavita. Is it the best olive oil I've ever had? No. But it's good and I think it's a comparatively good value. I order a new tin before I run out of my old one, and having it shipped to me is very convenient. The only thing I don't like is that the tin gets mangled in shipping. I can live with that, though.So...yeah. It's olive oil.

I have used Colavita olive oil for years. When I was buying it at the grocery, I always got the extra virgin pressed from Italian olives. I tried the large plastic bottles that Amazon sells as part of a subscription. While those are labelled extra virgin, the oil is a mixture of Italian, Spanish and Greek oil. It was fine. I continued the subscription for a year, but when the last renewal was coming up, the price went up 40%. For that I could buy the bottled Italian at the grocery.After looking at the various Colavita bulk oils, I found this. Both from the description on Amazon and the labelling on the can, it is the same stuff I was getting: extra virgin oil from Mediterranean country but not only Italy. Still fine.I did have a concern as to whether the can could be shipped safely, as I remember seeing bent cans in the grocery. When the can arrived, it was bent, but hadn't leaked. The spout worked fine and I'm happy.

Love this extra virgin olive oil! Has a great flavor and a slight burn in your throat if taken by itself. Best I've found short of importing from Crete. I even use this when baking if a recipe calls for oil. I highly recommend it
