Worked well out of the box.
I ordered it for a receiver I had it came. I turned on the receiver and set it up and it works great. And what I mean by setting it up, I started putting butt pushing buttons on it and it worked.

I lost the remote to my rx-v377. Crazy that you can't change settings via the on screen setup menu without the remote (as far as I could tell). This allowed me to turn on ARC. Receiver is working perfectly now.

as long as it works by turning on/off and volume. all i wanted for.pros: turn off/on, volume and mutecons: thin plastic, already heard broken plastic when i first got it but still worked.,not all the function worked on controller to my amp.

Function labels are blurred some functions on the remote face.
Blurred printing on function labels keeps it at two stars.

Buttons
It's a remote with too many buttons that is compatible with the thrift store sound system we found. So far, I know how to use 5 buttons. Will probably need another remote to control the buttons on this one.
