Ordered two of these little gems to replace a couple worn out OEM remotes for a Craftsman 139.53970SRT unit (labeled year 2002). Opener has the green learn button. Pressed and held it, hit button on remote #1, done. Repeated process for remote #2, done. Whole process took about 20 seconds, and both remotes work great.The button on the remote has a nice feel to it, and pressing it is more precise than the original remotes were. Those got to be a chore to use every single time with having to press the button in and slide my thumb back and forth until the door would finally open. These are so much better made and more responsive, and even come with a nice little fastener to quickly attach the remote to your key ring.Remote also comes with a battery already installed.A+. Completely delighted. Let's just hope they work a year from now!

This worked great. Smaller and more convenient than original remote. Got for my BF after friend taking care of our pets lost original remote. After about 6 months, got another one so I can go for a run without taking and losing house keys. Works better than original remote, operation feels smoother. Somehow the garage door opener instructions, which were with house after 2 previous owners said something about “green learn button.”I am pretty bad with technology, and the directions are useless, one teeny sheet of very thin Bible-like paper. Bit the other reviewers have directions for use, which worked. The green learn button? Second remote about 6 mo later, really did not need directions.

This was delivered quickly. It was easy to program - push the green button on the back of the actual garage door opener then push the button on the remote (the instructions are on the garage door opener). It is small enough to fit in your pocket. This way your garage door opener isn't left in the car for thieves. We have some friends whose car was broken into this past Sunday at church - they took the garage door opener and used the car registration or insurance car to get their home address and went to their house and stole their truck. Terrible. Avoid getting things stolen by using this garage door opener that stays with you.

Range is significantly less than original opener. 10-15 ft max distance to open or close garage door. Makes sense, smaller device = less transmission strength. Size is perfect for key ring. About as big as a car fob. Pairing took less than 30 seconds with green button on receiver.

This item is perfect to have when needed. I’m not always in one of our vehicles that have a door opener in it so this opener is just right for those times.

Bought this for my set of motorcycle keys. Makes it so I not have to get off the bike to open the garage door. Also bought these for the cars. Makes it so I don’t have to have a garage door opener in the car that might be stolen if broken is to. Definitely recommend.

Bought this for the Craftsman garage door opener that was in our house when we bought it. Only one of the original openers was functioning. I found this one on Amazon and it had good reviews.Once I received it, it literally took less than 30 seconds to pair it with the garage door opener.I might get a couple more for all my key sets!

Worked well for my garage, it is just like another opener! However, the design of the green button system is very old, anyone who captures the signal from the device and replay it will be open the same garage door.
