LOVE THIS LICORICE TEA
This is the only licorice tea I have ever tried and I am hooked on it. I was advised two months ago to drink licorice tea as part of an adrenal stress protocol. I put 6 bags in a quart jar with water and let it steep on a counter for a few hours. I squeeze the bags with a little pair of tongs to get all the flavor out and then refrigerate it. I love it plain, on ice. Very refreshing. To me, the first taste sensation is an earthiness with a sweet follow through. I'm glad my doctor's order turned out to be so delicious. And kudos to Traditional Medicinals for their ingredient labels that list not only what you are getting, but how much. That is what drew me to this company in the first place. I have been buying other teas from them for quite a while.

No sweetener needed for licorice lovers!
Made a cup as soon as I received it and instantly fell in love. No need to sweeten it at all because it’s naturally that way. I’m beyond happy because the licorice root really helps heal and sooth my stomach ulcers. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys black licorice and a healthy but sweet cup of tea.

Like it more than I thought I would.
I've never had licorice tea before. I bought it after reading that it can help with dental issues. Not sure it's done anything for my teeth. But I really enjoy adding a bag to my ice water. It adds just enough flavor. It even adds some sweetness. I usually add a green tea bag to my water during the day. But now I'm using this in the evening. I will be buying this again.

Great help on my reflux
I was diagnosed with Laryngopharyngeal reflux/LPR aka silent reflux after suffering from burning pain on my throat that even goes up to the roof of my mouth. It took 2 1/2 months, numerous test and exam until a 2nd ENT doctor said I have LPR. The gastroenterologist prescribed me omeprazole 20mg 2x/day, minimal help, to 40mg twice/day, was at the start of my 2nd week of 40mg when I read about licorice tea for reflux. The 1st day I Took it after each meal and the following day I was 50% better., continued it for a week and I really felt the improvement on my throat and my doctor now decrease my omeprazole dose and the goal is to take me off the med. it’s been 3 weeks now and the burning throat pain is almost 90% gone and I only take the tea as needed since it said on the label you can’t take it over a month. Licorice really helps with all Gerd and I agree with all I’ve read with other reviews. Also you can look up Licorice Root tab, DGL Tablets . I hope this review helps someone .

Best Licorice option I have found
I've purchased this dozens of times over the years and can say it has quite consistent pleasant taste. Sometimes licorice can be bitter or musty, which happens often if I get loose leaf packages to try to save money.Benefits:Immediately soothes throat and stomachHelps staying low carb to get your sweetness fixGives me a small body buzzDocumented medicinal benefits like being antiviralDrawbacks:In exceptionally, stupidly high doses can raise blood pressure and mess with potassium. In my case I have naturally low blood pressure so it feels good.Pro tip:This review assumes you have four tea bags for a large mug. The key to me liking herbal teas is to quadruple whatever instructions are on the package!

Great tasting tea.
Strong or weak, this is a great taste. One cup per day is enough (the limit for licorice root).

the better, in my opinion
The flavor takes some getting used to. The stronger you make it, the better, in my opinion.

Very tasty and may help prevent viruses
Had done some reading that preliminary studies in the past showed that licorice may help prevent viruses similar to the coronavirus from sickening the host. You should read up on potential negative effects of taking too much licorice, though. Don’t overdo it. Make sure to get plenty of potassium, for example, if you have a higher intake of licorice. This is very tasty also!
