Reference material
Not everyone hauls around a huge Players Guide. These spellbook cards are a good reference material. My only gripe is that they were never updated with the Xanthar's or Tasha's books or any new material. Even though bare bones, they are a good to have in a pinch where the player has the complicated stuff written down and the easy stuff referenced to use at will. We all know the biggest weakness of the PCs is that the player has to remember and manual input skills and perks and they are not automatically done like in a CRPG

Great addition!
These are a great addition to the other decks, they fill in some cards that I needed. The box tab is hard to open and close without bending but the cards feel as durable as cards get. Just be careful not to bend because some do stick together. It absolutely beats writing everything out and makes a great addition!

Love it
I like that this is able to be used by players and DM.

You have all the others just buy them
This is the least valuable of the card sets of this kind. And you get the least amount of cards. But if your buying all the other sets go ahead and finish off the collection it's not gonna kill you.

These cards are great. I'm glad to have them. It definitely helps save time understanding the spells instead of leafing through a book.

Because remembering things are hard when you are being chased by an owlbear
Trying to remember some of the skills and talents given to a particular race in D&D can be tricky if you dont play that character type a lot (or if you are just starting out). These are not flash cards, but more of reference cards that you keep with you to remind you of the different types of attack, or that your barbarian can speak with animals....They are not required to play the game, but they do come in handy if you dont play it enough to memorize everything
