Excellent OWB holster for the money. I got it for my Taurus 85 five-shot. Overall, the retention is very good, which is what you want in a holster first and foremost. It fits like a glove; comes out easily but won't fall out if you turned it upside down. The strap is strong and placed well (securing the firearm without putting pressure on the hammer if you pull hard), the button is strong but not difficult to open open quickly with your thumb. The belt clip is quite rigid with "hooks" on the end which overlap each other and prevent the holster from slipping off the belt. In fact, it's pretty hard to get the clip on or off the belt, which is great. I usually unbuckle and slip the belt through the clip so I can get it in just the right spot. The clip is seated on a nylon strap which makes it flexible on your hip while keeping retention. The ammo loops hold .38 rounds very snugly. Maybe too snugly, but that won't detract from my rating because you should use speedloaders with a revolver anyway, and I still like having the option to hold extra rounds in a place that isn't jingling in my pocket. Overall, I can't imagine finding a better OWB holster for less than $20. Get this one for open carry and save your money for that nicer leather IWB holster, like I did. This one does it's job and more.

Works great for my use case. Use it with a heritage barkeep. The ejection rod fits great and retains well if the rod is put through the middle and bottom row with the handle sitting in the top row of the little bullet holders.

Smith 5 shot .38 special perfect fit. I keep shotshells on the outer edge for snakes. Wear daily as my at home fence walker.

The clip can be difficult to snap over pants line and belts due to the velcro but nice overall.

The holster loop fits a regular-sized belt. The holster fits my 38s just fine. I do like the snap instead of velcro because it makes less noise, but I feel like the snap could be a little more heavy duty. But it's fine for my purposes, mainly daily hikes to check my game cams.I especially like the extra ammo loops since I never keep a round in the first chamber anyway. They're fairly snug but I wouldn't trust them completely, it's possible for a round to pop out, it just depends on the activity.

It's very stiff, but I'm sure it will break in a little. I'm used to a plain belt/pocket holster I've had for years so that's a lot softer, but I feel more secure with this holster. Time to practice drawing... An armed society is a polite society! Teach someone to shoot.
