Took me a while to write this review. As far as shipping and delivery, it came as expected... While the package says 8-45 days of germination, luckily I live in the high desert in California, where I was able to keep the soil warm as described, and I sowed 8 seeds and got 5 seedlings to start the process. Thank you for the seeds, I will have sugar canes to suck on for awhile. Brings me back to my childhood memories

Did not grow- it would be better to buy the plant and not the seeds

As it is seeds i will not know for sure for several months.This is exactly as described, it arrived as promised, appears to be well made, and a good value for the money.I just wish they would put a packing slip in the package.This came in the manufacturers packaging 👍The packaging was plain brown cardboard 👍Limited or no plastic 👍No polystyrene foam (styrofoam) 👍👍

Maybe I can update this later but so far, it isn't sugarcane exactly. Its some kind of cane and the seeds were great quality and grew so far about 9 ft tall. The stalks so far after many months are extremely skinny and fragile. I have stalks growing on the side of stalks that are falling off and breaking I don't know if that is normal but so far nothing looks like an actual sugar cane and I tasted the broken pieces and they don't taste sweet at all or seem like sugarcane. Maybe it has to reach a certain level of maturity so I will let it grow all it can and see if it changes later on. I will likely keep searching for some stalks that I can plant directly rather than trying from seed. I knew this was a long shot already.

I originally got these because I had recently built myself a greenhouse, and wanted some exotic variety to try. I live in southern Maine, and these seeds produced beautiful sugarcane in a large container growing in my greenhouse! I planted 10 seeds accounting for probably failed germination hoping to get around 6-7, but I ended up with 10 sugarcane plants! Every single seed that I plant germinates! I hadn't ever seen any seeds before with a near 100% germination rate like these! Also when buying these I was under the impression that I was getting 45 seeds. I ended up getting around 150! They gave me many more than I thought I was getting, and I am really impressed with Robsrareandgiantseeds. I don't know if they are the world's tallest sugarcane, but they are certainly taller than me at 5'9''! This was a great value for the price, and I am glad that I now have my own homemade raw sugar!

It is a misrepresentation of the product, it is not sugar cane species. It is a sugar-containing sorgum, a grain agricultural product, not a cane.

Our seeds were delivered July 17th & they sat semi-forgotten for nearly a month. Well, I came across them again & decided to plant them. They sprouted in FOUR DAYS!! They're a nice bright green & going super strong! If you're on the fence, go for it, you won't be disappointed!!
