GREAT FOR 2 CHANNEL AS WELL AS HOME THEATER
I owned Klipsch since my home theater audiophile beginnings . Herecy as well as reference . Last front set were the original RF-7's , loved them , still working great by the way and never had issue with brightness as so many have claimed. Source components and gear also play a part , I now after much research ended up back with the RF7 111's , and have no regrets have stayed up now numerous nights listening to music, all my old CD's appreciated all over again .As for home theater there is no doubt what these dynamic speakers bring to the table . I have a 7.2.4 set up, the RF 7 111's set to large and never have not ended up smiling unconsciously as I watch, whether its a blockbuster action flick or a movie with super low level ambience, always amazing .No buyer remorse guaranteed .

Lacks midrange
First of all, you better have a very large room for these; cramming them into anything smaller is ignorant. Secondly, the 10" woofers aren't fast enough to blend well with the tweeter, and as a result, there is a lack of upper mid detail. I highly recommend getting a speaker with much faster 5 or 6" woofers (mids), and using a large subwoofer crossed at 100 hz for the bass. This combination will sound MUCH better in every way.
