I didn't purchase this handlebar for my own use, but to help my riding partner with getting a little height to take the pressure off her hands, which went numb after about 3 miles of casual riding. This handlebar seems to have solved much of the problem, along with the use of ergonomic grips and frequent changes of hand positions while riding. My friend seems much more relaxed on rides and can now ride longer without significant discomfort in her hands.The handlebar gave a moderate rise in height that aided the rider in maintaining a more upright position without looking silly or top heavy. The best aspect is that the use of this handlebar didn't require ANY modification to the bike's cabling, though initially there was a slight binding problem with tight turns (since resolved).This handlebar is very well constructed, sturdy and the black paint appears to be durable. Overall, the handlebar is a great value and saved my riding partner from having to give up riding, get another bike and/or fitting or make major modifications at a greater expense than could be justified for casual riding.

If You Want To Achieve A More Upright Riding Posture Then Consider Ordering These Bars. I Installed Them On My Wife's Specialized City Bike And The Results Were Profound. A perfectly good handlebar that raised my hand position just like I wanted. Easy to install. Never did it before and from opening the box to taking my bike outside was less than an hour.Nice enough finish. Delivered rapidly. Fit just fine. But its just a handlebar that does what handlebars do. Price was pretty good. In other words, no complaints and a nice result.

I bought a bike that had a straight handlebar. This caused me to bend over too far and placed my hands at a bad angle so my wrists would hurt. This handlebar lifts me up and puts my wrists in a more comfortable position.

Probably the funniest packaging I ever got. The delivery guy was in stitches walking up my driveway. It was 3 white USPS boxes taped together in the shape of the handle bar. Hey it worked. The product itself is a perfect solution for my wife's old mountain bike. The one I purchased is black and the only reason I gave 4 stars is because how easy it scratches. Otherwise it is a solid product. Went on easily barely had enough slack in the cables to reach from a straight handle bar. My wife loves it because her back is no longer bothered by the angle. She uses her bike for only paved trail riding.

Bought these handle bars for my "free" mountain bike I got. There bars were easy to install and after the installation I went for a ride and made a huge difference. Great product. Dang, I have $30 into a "free" bike, lol.

My shoulders would hurt go to sleep and I’d have to shake my arms to get the circulation back. These handlebars fixed my problem!

ends of the tube(the cut) were slightly flared, not finished properly, Hard to transfer stuff from old bike. Finished is glossy and paint scratches easily. Also, the diameter of the tube is just a minute amount wider in diameter, so hard to mount existing hardware over to it. Harder to mount stuff and not scratch the paint. Not happy. Should been a baked on finish. If all one has are brakes handles, be ok. Or a 20 inch kids bike, single speed with no brakes to mount on handle, then be fine. I have an E-bike, with the twist throttle, 8-speed gear selector, brakes and grips, I cannot mount them on this handlebar, not long enough straight portions at end of handlebar.
