Compact, quiet ceiling fan, ok for sloped ceiling
We put this fan in an upstairs loft to help ventilate the house in warm weather. It is compact, moves air well, and was reasonably easy to install with a 24 inch downrod, as our ceiling is beamed. You can reverse the rotation of the blades. Happy with purchase.

WILL NOT FIT WITH THE CONTROL MODULE ON A SLOPE
Total design flaw. I have a sloped roof that is not 45 degrees. I bough this kit for my Emerson 3 blade 72" fan with the wall control. It would not allow the control module to fit in while the fan hung at a tilt.Well - In the words of Ed Harris in Apollo 13. - "failure is not an option" - Before the electrician was ready to pack up and call it a day (I'd have hung it myself but the ceiling is far to high for my tastes) I told him to chill for 5 min while i went into my garage.Being that the ball is made of solid aluminum, I put it in a vice and sawzalled (with a metal blade) a chunk out of the top of the back half....then I took it to my belt sander. After about 15 min and being covered with aluminum filings, we got it to work just fine....the electrician didn't even charge me for the extra time bc he was shocked to have a customer fabricate a fitting for him on the spot.All in all, it worked out - but a horrible design flaw in the product.

Not too happy!
Came in a timely manner. Was missing hardware and instructions for install. Ball wouldn’t fit down rod. Had to use the original one from ceiling fan. I made it work and wife is happy.
