Minnesota-Proof
I recently moved to Minnesota from California. When I was doing my initial winter shopping, I bought a pair of liners and a pair of Gordini gloves (not mitts) to go over them, but found that my fingers would get extremely cold whenever I was outside for more than 15 minutes at a time. After the recent spell of -40 F days, I decided I needed to get a heavier pair of mittens to keep my fingers warm, but didn't want to shell out the $100-150 that most of the heavy-duty mittens on Amazon cost. Luckily, these Gordini mittens were $36, and so far I have no regrets. They fit over my liners perfectly, and keep my fingers warm. On the super cold days, I like to stick a reusable hand warmer into each mitten, which fits well and keeps me comfortable, even while biking at night. Overall, for the price, comfort, and insulation, 5 stars.

Newer version stinks
They're still using the old picture, The newer version has a lowercase logo "Gordini" and the liner isn't attached to the mitten. So when you close your hand in the mitten it just slides the liner around the inside rather than closing the glove around what you're trying to grab.

Surpasses my biases based on the price point for Gore-Tex mitts
Mitts were purchased to replace an old pair of North Face Gore-Tex gloves that lasted a good ten plus years. I snowboard, so mitts are ideal and I trust Gore-Tex waterproof, yet breathable material. I never heard of Gordini, but I did some research and they are a long standing company that focuses on hand wear so I figure for the price, I'd give it a chance. The mitts surpassed my biases based on the price point and holds up well to the wet Lake Tahoe snow conditions. Though I couldn't give it five stars because though many reviewers claimed that the mitts would keep your digits super warm, I felt with weather conditions in the low 40-degrees Fahrenheit, my digits still felt cold while on the chair lift. Sizing wise, it fits to standard measurements, so no need to purchase a size up.

Soft and warm
I bought these for my kids and my kids actively tell me they like these gloves the most without me prompting them. I live in Alaska so that means a lot.

Great mittens at an extremely reasonable price
These mittens are outstanding, particularly given the low price point. They are perfect for extended shoveling or other outdoor activities even at fairly low temperatures. Even with wind chills below zero (F), I have yet to have any issue with cold hands since purchasing these. There are certainly better mittens at higher prices, but the value here is tremendous for what these cost.

Very warm Mitts
I just gave the Mitts a pretty good test, a 40 minute bike commute to work in 4 degree, -5 wind chill. My hands were just fine with those temps. I bet I will not be able to wear them when it is above 25 degrees, will be too warm.I am not sure about getting them wet or being out in the cold for longer durations. I only needed them for dry, cold days for under an hour and they work just fine for that.
