From a distance it’s a beautiful gold necklace-really nice chain and it is adjustableDidn’t mind it was in a ‘baggie’ since I had a box to gift it to a friend. Not tangled. Problem I have-no idea it is a compass! Can’t read the letters. I told recipient it was a compass because I could tell she was baffled by the design. Then she was happy with it. Nice try-but because of that-not worth the $$. Won’t buy another
