Love Americolor food coloring for my cakes! It really lets you get a dark shade you are looking for without the bitterness!

very nice color. It is l little lighter than the other dark colors, so you need to use a little more, but it is worth it. Came 5 days earlier than expected

I loved this product. It covered so well. The customer wanted a deep gold. So I used black frosting and then sprayed it with the gold. It’s a must buy. It did not drip. I was able to go over without waiting in between layers

I followed someone else’s advice and started with tan fondant and it worked really well with painting the gold on it. The C shows you what color fondant I started with, and the other pieces show what it looks like with one coat of gold on it. I did go back the next day, and put a second coat but it looked good with just one.

Have never been disappointed with this brand and how vibrant the colors are.

First, I did not use this with airbrush. I painted it on and it worked just fine. I read a lot of differnt reviews about painting v. Airbrush. Yes, you can paint it on with a brush. The key is to use multiple coats but let each coat dry first. It spread really easily. I did not mix it with any vodka or extract because during my test it watered down the color and I wanted true gold color. At first I was perturbed by how small the bottle was but, I only used about 1/8 of the bottle for an 8 inch square double layer cake. Great value!This was my first americolor food coloring and I was very pleased. I think I may try more colors. The gold in the picture is three brushed coats of the coloring. Each coat dried in about 20 minutes.

I used this product for both painting and airbrushing silver on cookies. The airbrushed color was great. When painting I found I had more success when I airbrushed a coat of pearl on the cookie first. The "21" cookie is airbrushed, the other is painted.
