Converts AV to HDMI
Used this on an old VCR-has AV jacks - works perfectly. You will need a small power supply- same as you would use to charge an older phone & a HDMI cable as well.

The connection works
This item is currently serving its purpose for my tv and dvd player. I needed to buy an HDMI to HDMI cord to complete the process but it does work. I guess I need to play with the ports to get the picture right because the movies are coming thru kind of dark. It arrived intact and on time, item as described.

Works exactly like described!
Works just like how it should! Easy to understand and I was able to get my old PS2 working on my TV. Happy to have gotten this.

Woth the price
I bought this to hook up my PS1 to a modern display. I am impressed by the quality of the output. Games are upscaled to your choice of 720p or 1080p via a switch on the side, unlike other converters I have used where it's more of a guessing game. Output is stable with no flicker. Considering it's a composite signal, it's better than I expected and well worth the price.

Highly suggest you do NOT purchase this
I recommend that you do not go with this particular adapter. I purchased this to use with a PS2 and the first problem right off the bat is it automatically stretches the input to 16x9. Maybe you prefer that but it should be an option and it crops the image by zooming in to make it fit. On top of that, the image quality is poor. One of the games I tried to play was so dark I literally could not see where I was going and that is not how the game should look. Iffy colors and blurry presentation.
