Too much sugar for the taste
These are highly sweetened, which for an occasional treat, would be ok, but the flavor is mediocre - dimensionless. Mexican Coke is a complex great wine in comparison. It would also be better if the bottles were half the size.

" This is less sweet than others and closer to the original flavor
This is Abbondio's renowned chinotto, but under a new name: the label tells us that it is brewed by "Abbondio of Tortona!" This is less sweet than others and closer to the original flavor, which was quite bitter - an acquired taste, admittedly, but one which, once acquired, is difficult to dispense with.Abbondio once made many fine soft drinks, but their chinotto was the best, and although San Pellegrino is at pains to claim the orginal chinotto, Abbondio's case was strong. Unfortunately, mismanagent drove the company into trouble (so I am told, anyway) and their strawberry-grapefruit is gone. You can buy their Mente and Bitter Rosso here, but I believe they are bottled by another firm under the Abbondio name. In Italy, it may still be possible to find Abbondio chinotto in the "ball" bottle.

It's good.
Very good Chinotto. I've had Chinotto from San Pellegrino, Stappj, and Polara. This one by Lurisia has the same flavor as the others, except it has an additional somewhat subtle lemon flavor added to it (at least that's what it tastes like to me). It's good.

Tasty yes, but much too expensive.
I was getting into trying various soft drinks from around the world, and this one sounded intriguing. I had some credit card points, so I didn't pay super-close attention to the cost. Is it good? Yes. The burnt sugar gives a pleasant, smoky bitterness, and the citrus is refreshing. Carbonation is fairly low. I'm not a mixologist, but I think it would go well with some dark rum. But will I ever purchase again? At $8 per bottle, no way.

different than the chinoto what we are used to in Italy. the color is a lot lighter and the taste is not quite the same as the original chinoto.

a small step above the artificial kinds
Tastes nice, not sure how much more authentic they are than the typical artificial flavor Chinottos. This one has a tiny bit of actual juice and some "natural flavors" .

I loved this citrus soda. It almost reminds me of a real Cream soda. I would definitely get it again.
