This stuff is amazing as a base coat for a gel manicure. It helps ur nails from becoming brittle and breaking easily.

So far, so good. I have used full coverage artificial nails with glue for almost 20 years. I have always had thin, weak, nails that peel off in layers. Now I have VERY thin nails. When I removed the artificial nails, mine are so thin that it is painful to use even very warm water much less hot water. I put two coats of Vitagel Recovery on my pitiful nails and it protected them so that even hot water was not painful. It provides a nice covering that is very shiny. I have now switched to gel nails (formed with hard gel and dual form molds) and put them over the two layers of Vitagel Recovery. I have tried gluing on top of other nail treatments and the treatmen separates from the nail in a day or two. So far, it's been a week and my gel nails are still intact. i will update this as I see how Recovery performs over time.

This is an awesome product to help your nails grow. My nails were brittle and broke vey easily. The two pictures show my before and after with Vitagel on for three weeks. I took a close up picture so you can see the nail growth. You do need to have a curing lamp to use this product. I applied the gel in very thin layers with three coats. The gel has a thick texture. It does become slightly yellow as your nails grow out. Well worth it to have healthy nails while growing them out.

I was hoping to use these to strengthen my nails with the product, but seems It peels right off with in just a day or two. I have since put it over the foundation and so far it has stayed better.

I use this product as a base coat for my toes. I chose this product because my toe nails are brittle. Using this product as a base coat has hardened my toe nails. Just what I was looking for!!

The paint peels off within a day. It doesn’t last at all. Total waste.

I'm not sure why people are experiencing problems with peeling. I didn't. I used in lieu of the foundation gel...min 2 coats, more if you want harder nails. I didn't experience faster nail growth, but I was pleasantly surprised that my polish came off easily in 1 soak (usually takes 2-3!) AND my nails were in normal condition- no damage like I used to get from gel!I'm not sure why they even bother to continue selling the regular foundation when we can just use this product!

I've been doing my own gel nails for about a year and felt that they aren't that healthy so I purchase these two products. I loathe these! They peel and chip within a day or two, requiring me to either walk around with ugly nails or soak and redo much sooner than I'd need to with other gel products - very bad for the health of my nails!!! I like the Gelish Foundation and Top it Off a lot so I expected a lot more from these products and am very disappointed in them. I've given both of them 2 tries each with the exact same abysmal results - I am not happy with this purchase!
