Still great after 2 years, perfect lightweight id case, doubles as my wallet!
After nearly two years of daily use as an ID holder and minimalist wallet, it's still in great shape. It's pretty scratched up after all the daily abuse, but not noticeable past 3 feet away. I'm tempted to buy a few more as gifts for those with heavy leather lanyard cases, or extras for me in case they are ever discontinued.Made of super light rigid clear plastic that's not brittle and flexible enough to not have cracked despite being in various pockets.Comes with spacers that make the two card system snug but still easy to pull. I ended up going minimalist and making this my wallet, so i took the spacers out and added a few cards and a tri-folded $20. Everything is pretty snug, but if you take out multiple cards like the credit card and the ID, it can spill the cards out if flipped upside down, but it was never advertised as a wallet, so doesn't warrant a take down in the rating. More of a bonus if you can work it out.The lanyard slot is angled so that cards can be pulled without having to remove the clasp. The only wish is for a way to secure the top, but no other id case has figured the out either without adding a bulky clasp, so I can't knock it down for that either.

Good sturdy ID holder
I am an airline pilot and like most airlines, mine issues a badge that I am required to wear. I choose to wear mine on a neck lanyard, Originally, I kept it in a heavy duty soft plastic cover. But then TSA started having me remove the badge every time I went through security. They told me it was because the plastic messes with the UV they use to check my badge. Well I broke two badges taking them out of that plastic cover. So I started just wearing the badge without the plastic cover...this worked for TSA but created a problem for me. My airline uses a thin plastic to make our ID bages and they were really not meant to be worn on the neck lanyard alone and tended to break over time. So I broke two more badges. The badge would usually break and fall off without me even realizing it happened. Fortunately in both cases some honest people returned the badge to me quickly. So I decided I needed to find something that I could carry my badge in safely. It had to be clear, secure, durable, and easy to get my badge into and out for TSA. After a lot of looking, I came across this badge holder. The price was reasonable and it seemed to be what I was looking for, so I ordered it. Since I didn't need the shielded version, I was able to save a few bucks :-)I've now been using it for two months and it has worked great. It holds my ID securely, but I can remove it quickly and easily when needed. It is a hard plastic and seems very durable. Two slots make for sliding the badge into or out of the holder an easy task. It does not seem to scratch easily. Most importantly, I don't worry about my ID anymore.I recommend this holder.

The best choice for two cards
When I started my job, they issued us these cheap vinyl sleeves with a notch at the top that connected to a retractable badge holder. In time, both of these broke....repeatedly. Being an avid Amazon shopper or incessant review reader, I searched for the perfect badge holder and retractor (another review). Here are the features I wanted (which are also the PROS of this particular badge holder):1. Clear plastic on both sides2. Capacity to hold 2 badges that were easily removable, but would not accidentally fall out3. Sat portrait style (vertically)4. StrongThis badge meets all of these. It is completely clear, not frosted like some others. There are two slots at the top that allow you to put in a badge for each one. For me, one is a work badge, the other is for the metro. There are small holes in the face and back of the holder that allow you to slide out either badge with your finger. I find this pretty easy to do. On the top of one side, there is a plastic mounted hole that allows you to attach an id cord. My work and metro both require the IDs to touch a sensor. I'm able to touch the badge holder without removing the IDs. This is great for me. I think there may be some facilities or agencies that require some type of RF blocking, but this badge does have such a security feature.Overall, this holder is very strong and I'm never worried about a section of it breaking. I haven't had the misfortune of crushing it under a car or dropping it from several stories, but it does quite well with daily wear and tear.

A great badge holder for people with finger dexterity issues
This badge holder is excellent, especially for a person with arthritis or dexterity issues. You can take your card out by pushing it up with your finger through one of the two open windows on either side of the card. There is room for two cards and two spacers so you can make the cards snug or loose as you wish. It is well made and thought went in to it. If you leave the cards in 'loose' with only one id card and one or nor spacers, your id card may fall out if you let it turn upside down, but that is the only downside and easily compensated for. Great price, and does the job.

Sturdy
I have two ID cards at work. One is just a name badge and the other is a swipe card to get into buildings and rooms. With our old cards, we could punch a hole in it but with the new ones, we cannot or it demagnetizes. That was why I was looking for a holder that would make it easy to take the card out and replace it. I did not technically need to be able to remove both cards but have to carry both together at all times. This fits the bill perfectly! It is hard plastic, very sturdy. But it is lightweight. Cards fit securely and are completely covered up (no edges sticking out). My swipe card is easy to get in and out.The one thing I wish it had was the top snap part so I could loop it on a lanyard. The top, instead, has a slit type opening so you can attach it but nothing to attach it is included, if that makes sense. If I wanted to put it on a key ring, it would hang sideways. So now I have to scour amazon for an attachment which seems like it could have been included.
