I've purchased these snaps twice for different projects. Over the past years I've never had a problem with them and I would recommend them to anyone working on a boat cover or a project requiring that level of quality. When connecting the snaps I always get a sturdy connection between the snaps parts and this is very important for the strength of the snap system.

easy to use!

Not the best quality I’ve seen but would buy again. The screw sheared off about 10-15% of these during install. I was screwing these into fiberglass and aluminum and the head would just twist off. I needed about 60 so I bought 2 packs of 50 and had enough to finish. These would probably be fine if you’re only installing in wood but buy extra. Once installed they look and work well.

these were perfect for crafting and simple pinning of lightweight fabric but there's no way these hold up on garment applications. absolutely not strong enough for garments like jackets. the metal is too thin and flimsy.

Quality snap and strong

The male part of the snap works fine, is easy to install, & has no problems. Unfortunately the female part of the snap is mostly throwaway quality. The pole(stem) of the cap is so fragile & weak that it's almost impossible to attach the cap to the snap, using either a plier tool or the hammer tool . The stem just crumples with hardly any pressure & will not lock the cap to the snap. Only about 5% or less were useable. The rest were throwaways.
