My two old lineman sets had defective cord and only work intermittenally.

My return window closed Sept 22, by Oct 8 the buttset could no longer dial the correct number. Probably has something to do with the dtmf tone not being correct. It's anybody guess what is being dialed regardless of the number entered.

Works fine has some nice features......but no hands free speaker
For the money, this phone works just fine, has many of the important features but no hands free, which drives me crazy because its hard to hold it to your ear when your also trying to test connections.

If you're a handyman and need a basic telephone test set, I suppose it will work. If you're a pro, spend more and get something more robust.
