ARIES B35-2004 3-Inch Black Steel Bull Bar, No-Drill, Select Toyota Sequoia, Tundra

Its as easy as an install can get. Took me about 15 minutes because I was taking my time and enjoying the upgrade process.It is well built, I already tapped a golf cart and am glad it was my bull bar it hit and not my bumper. It held up pretty well and I just wiped off the blemish.I will be posting pics to give a visual on my 2012 Tundra Crewmax.For the price, this is the best bull bar in terms of bang for your buck.

I'm not much for modifying my vehicles. Most of those "grille-guards" people slap on their SUVs look downright ridiculous. Just today I saw a Toyota Rav4 with a huge chrome wrap-around kangaroo-protector, which left me puzzled about two things: a) is the guy in that RAV4 really going off-road and if so b) how would it go so far off road as to encounter a kangaroo?But in Colorado we travel on rural roads quite a bit, and cattle can come on the road, so having something between your expensive grille and a cow would generally be a good idea. You may also actually need to push some branches and rubble out of the way too. Without going for a ridiculous look, I wanted something understated and fairly sturdy for my truck. This fit the bill. And it was about $100 less than a very similar Westin. The built quality is just about the same.Installation was super-easy, but I used Westin's installation guide. That's because the one Aries provides isn't legible.You basically attach the bar's brackets to your tow-hooks' holes using the same bolts that hold the tow-hooks. Then you bolt the bar onto the brackets with provided bolts & hardware. That's it. To make the bar hang even you could ask someone to hold it. I simply parked the truck on an even surface and put the bar on adjustable flat bench in front of it.The bar looks sturdy and not too shiny as you would get with an all-chrome look. And you could bolt two KC lights onto it, there are pre-made holes. The only quibble I have is that I wish it would curve closer to the grille. The way it is positioned is a bit too far from it, which is probably better safety-wise, but doesn't look as integrated as it might be.

I received my bar quickly and packaged very well, no dents or scratches. It went on fairly quick and without much effort. Some people comment on putting the tow hooks back on at install, which you can do, but the way the bar is positioned you would bend or break the bull bar if you actually used the hooks to tow.I really love the look of this bar on my 2011 Toyota Tundra SR5 double cab. You usually see either all stainless, or all black bars. So the black bar with the stainless skid plate sets my truck apart. Looks great against the chrome bumper, especially with a set of KC Daylighters mounted on it.Well worth the money and would Highly recommend to anyone looking to "badass" the look of their truck. Will post picks if the weather ever gets any better up here in Maine. Hope this helps.

This lookes goid but crap metal.does not take force to bent or dent. There's better ones out there.

Nothing wrong with the product itself, it’s very pretty but they don’t know how to package these things. One layer of bubble wrap and that’s all. I’ve gotten 2 of these and both got damaged in shipping and it sucks because I like how it looks on my truck but I don’t have the patience to order another one and pray that it isn’t damaged

My husband was happy about receiving the bull bar and it does look nice on his truck and was easy to install. I only gave it a 2 star rating because the packaging was awful and it arrived with a dime sized dent in the top bar. My husband put it on his truck anyway and didn't want to go through the hassle of returning for a new one.

Received my order properly packaged and wrapped. Just as the previous recommendations stated, it installed in minutes. I took about 30 minutes, once I had all my tools handy, metric wrenches. Most challenging was removing the two tow hook bolts, they were torqued down pretty good. Once removed, put the anchor plates and hooks back on. With the assistance of my wife, put the Bull Bar on and fit perfect. Only challenge is the front license plate which it covered up.I went back and loosened the Bull Bar and let it drop down so I could get to my front license plate. I took it off and flipped it up and used the top two holes in the bumper for the license plate, and then used only the two bottom holes of the Tundra's manufacturer license plate holder. Also used the longer of the screws to hold the license plate in place, it now is displayed in the open area of the Bull Bar and visible. I'm not using the two shorter screws from the license plate. I put them back in the bumper so they wouldn't get lost in case I needed them later. It was the last thing I did. Be sure to put the shorter screws in the lower holes (on the bumper) before tightening the Bull Bar or you'll have to climb underneath to place them in the bumper.

If you’re looking at this and trying to decide to purchase it or not. Trying to decide if it’s just for looks or does it actually have a purpose. Well I’m here to tell you. It’s for looks and it serves a purpose. I bought it for looks and when I needed it to protect my grill, it did just that. I thought I could roll through a ditch and didn’t think it was that deep. I ran my truck into it to get to the other side and the front end bottomed out making a horrible noise, almost like a crashing sound. I reversed and pulled myself out. Looked at the damage and all there was, was a dent in the bull bar skid plate and it had given a bit, but did not break. Made some small marks on my bumper because it got pushed back by the impact. But this bull bar did what it was designed for. Protected my front end and even the bottom and suspension cause there could of been a lot of damage if it wasn’t for the bull bar stopping my truck. All I did was remove it from my front end. Beat the dent out of the skid plate with a rubber mallet. Put it back on and thanked myself for making the decision to purchase this bull bar.
