It's worth reading....
'Heart of Darkness' written by Joseph Conrad is a story of an introspective sailor and his journey up to Congo River to meet Mr. Kurtz. During his journey he finds a lot of inhuman activities and discovers how people could become inhuman without a structured society.Despite example of imperialism and racism there are some heart touching lines which I would surely like to quote:"You show them you have in you something that is really profitable, and then there will be no limits to the recognition of your ability.""When one is young one must see things, gather experience, ideas; enlarge the mind"The story is not just about people, society and journey there is much more than that....If you wanna know then must read and find hidden messages of those hearts which had never spoken and beats silently....

Poor print quality
The feel and print of the book are as important as the content. This particular edition of the classic is cheap but not classy. Gives the feel of a magazine more than that of a novel. If you are looking to buy the book only for an academic course, go ahead. But if you wish to add to your personal collection, not recommended.

This edition could be better.
I like the cover. It is minimalistic and tackles the theme well. The typeface is also good, but could be better because some part of the text looks like it has been squeezed too much. There are some typos too - but very rare. Page quality is also nice at this price point. Font size is okayish - it would have been better if it was a slightly bigger. Overall, this edition could be better.

Master piece
Firstly the book was delivered in excellent condition. The packaging was good and I received it intact. Secondly this is a master piece by Conrad.. so no review needed there. Thirdly, the paper is too thin.. penguin should work on improving the quality of the paper.
