Realized while doing the project that I should have designed 2 pulleys into the plan. Ordered a second that night and had it in 2 days!Plenty sturdy for what I needed it for. I am actually using it upside down, where the wheel is riding on a 1/4 inch steel cable, and cargo is suspended underneath. First test was 250 lbs weight. Pulled along as smooth as silk. Going to add a second pulley to stable the trolley, then load it up and cross/recross 100' creek to get 1000' lbs of material to the other side.

The media could not be loaded. Replaced my DIY pulley system for working out. I bought 3 and these are solid and super quiet!Stoked on this purchase and finally finding a proper pulley. Easy to take apart as well to allow for easy on and off of a line. Pictured is 3/16 coated line from Home Depot. Haven’t put weights on but compared to a Home Depot pulley it’s night and day. BUY BUY BUY no doubt!

I bought this for my DIY home gym pulley system. A bit pricey since there a lot of smaller and inexpensive pulleys in the marketplace. But I don’t regret buying these for a minute because they are strong, durable and smooth. No squeaking, no tracking issues and up to the task when I load up weights doing back exercises. Well worth the extra expense.

These things look great- very beefy! I would say they are well made but only time will tell. Unfortunately the bearings is where they skimped. I ordered 2 pulleys and both were rough and one wouldn’t spin freely. So I opened them up to find corrosion and a miss matched bearing, they don’t even look to be as good as skateboard bearings! Anyway after a parts cleaning and flushing and repacking them, they are working better but can feel the a rough spot. Anyways they still work and look great! Just kind of a let down to see that.

Good quality for the cost. Made in China. Don't know about the longevity yet.

This pulley works extremely well for the pull down rig I built for my home gym. So far the pulley runs with zero friction and it has a lot of heft to it. It turns and pivots very easily making it a versatile tool for the different workouts I do with it. I first purchased a pulley from a hardware store that quickly overheated from the friction of the weight and movement and eventually chewed up the plastic wrapped steel cable that ran through it. I recommend this pulley highly.
