Is this the glass jar?

The container is white, thick, hard plastic with metal lid. It looks like the original jars but is not glass.

What are the active ingredients for this Carmex that's being advertised? Because menthol & phenol have been taken out & made inactive & not the same.

Carmex website state: Active Ingredients Camphor 1.70%.................................................................External Analgesic White Petrolatum 45.30%.................................................................Lip Protectant Inactive Ingredients lanolin, beeswax, cetyl esters, paraffin, theobroma cacao seed butter, menthol, salicylic acid, phenol, vanillin, flavor

What are the active ingredients?!

"In the United States, the active ingredients of Carmex lip balm are benzocaine, camphor (1.7%), menthol (0.7%), phenol (0.4%), and salicylic acid.[8] The inactive ingredients, in order of greatest used to least used in the product, are petrolatum, lanolin, cetyl esters, paraffin wax, cocoa butter, beeswax, and flavor.[9]" Carmex

How long is expiration date?

For my recent purchase, the exp. date is Sept. 2024. But if they're stored with consistent temperature, they seem to last forever.

Superior Lip Balm

This is the classic Carmex product created in the 1930's to be the premier lip balm to sooth and repair cracked and sore lips. When I wake up in the night with stinging, dry lips, this brings me immediate relief and allows me a sound sleep the rest of the night.This package has enough to share and to have in various places to be ready for any emergency. I've tried other products but none of them provides the relief that Carmex does.

Moiturizing, affordable and reliable

I always stock up on these because the ones made in South Africa just aren't the same quality. I love them and share with my family as well. Lasts long on the lips requiring minimal reapplication. No white cast and keeps lips moisturized. No complaints besides that the Carmex is not the same depending on the different production regions.

Comforts sore lips. Great for nursing mothers.

Protects chapped lips while they heal. When my lips are sore, carmex makes them more comfortable.Also works on similar tissue. When I nursed my 3 kids, carmex helped me survive their biting stages. Ouch.
