Works perfect. Maybe a bit slow? But my laptop is kinda cheeks so idk its probably a bottleneck.

Purchased this Samsung M471A1K43CB1-CTD 8GB DDR4 2666MHz memory module back in 2020 (4 years ago and going strong), and it's been an excellent upgrade for my laptop. Easy to install, nice performance full compatible with my Synology DS720+, I found in a forum about this memory model and the full compatibility with my NAS, it was recognized and didn't receive any errors.

I bought this ram to upgrade the ram on Samsung Galaxy Ion 15.6 inch Laptop. There are few youtube videos that was educational on how to install ram on Samsung Galaxy Ion 15.6 inch laptop. I was skeptical if I am purchasing the correct ram module. The only information I knew in advance was that it has to be DDR4 2666MHz. I trust Samsung products for reliability, and I wanted the Samsung ram on Samsung laptop because that’s how I roll. Installation was easy as I followed youtube video instructions.I am very happy that once I installed the ram, the computer booted up without a glitch. There was about one minute of silence or black screen; then, it booted up. As soon as it’s booted up, I saw on the task manager that I have 15.8gb of ram, so I knew that installation was successful. My laptop now works flawlessly, and I am able to multi-task on my computer. I am basically using a laptop for work and school. I usually have multi google chrome screens, word docs, and adobe files opened at one time. It’s perfect.

Bought this 12/19/2022 for my DS720+ and in May 2025, began to fail.Maybe I got a bad one, but for the price, buying one every 2 years is okay for me.FYI....recommend doing a memory test the moment your NAS begins to restart randomly or you cannot log into DSM even though SMB into it works. Those are the signs of a failing memory.Also, always have a backup of your data!!!!!!!! Lost all my data 4 times because of memory failing.Also, no notification from Synology that it's "unofficial". The internal RAM that comes with the DS720+ is actually Samsung, so it's best to stick with Samsung if you want an increase.With the RAM installed, the difference in performance is like night and day.Would never use a DS720+ without the extra 8gb this adds (Unless it fails and I'm waiting for Amazon to deliver the replacement lol)Let's hope this one lasts more than 2 years for me again!!

The ram i received was the exact part number that I ordered. I f you need to find out what ram you need use the program CPUID it will give you the brand and exact part number. The ram went in in 15 minutes and booted up showing 16GB in dual channel instead of the 8GB the laptop came with.

Purchased this ram for my wife’s all in one computer. She normally has multiple windows open for work and she would constantly complain how slow it was. I researched reasons why computers run slow and insufficient ram was the number one cause. I checked the ram on the computer and it was at 100% capacity. By purchasing this additional ram doubled the capacity and was very easy to install. Immediate performance improvement!
