I’ve tried a few hair catchers since I cut my own hair and they’re all pretty much the same basic concept. The vinyl on this is a bit thicker and feels more solid than some of the cheaper ones I’ve tried which are extremely thin. The beard hair rolls off pretty easily during cleanup.The only thing is that all of these hair catchers are so wide. I don’t have some extravagant bathroom with large mirrors. It’s just a small mirror so there’s a reasonable gap and looseness to it, especially at the edge of the mirror, and the catching area is a bit narrow. You can sort of position it flat against the mirror and widen it a little but it has a tendency to become loose so there’s hair that can fly off a bit when using an electric trimmer and not catch properly. But it’s not too bad and it still does a decent job and makes hair cleanup a whole lot easier.

Got this for my son. It loves it. Says it's easy to use and saves having to clean up all the hairs when he's done shaving!

Hair sticks just a little to the apron, but it's mostly good there. My bigger issue is with the Velcro used to secure the neck part to your neck; for some reason, the sharp part of the Velcro faces in toward your neck instead of out. This leads to constant pricking from the sharp plastic while trimming my beard. With only a little effort, you can fold your way around this, but I shouldn't have to; it seems like an oversight.

Bought this as a gag gift, it actually ended up being very useful for the person I bought it for! They love it! Saves them cleaning up messes, or clogging their sink. Very light material.
