Love it!! Super cool effect, worth the price
It's really cool being able to spice up a room in such a simple way. Sure, you could just buy a laser lightshow machine with tons of bells and whistles and movement and all that, but you have to find somewhere to conceal it and depending on the device, you may have to learn how to use it or do some sort of other setup. The BlissLights bulbs are super simple, just plug n' play! And your guests will not be expecting it, which can be a nice plus.It can be tricky getting the perfect placement for them though. As much as I want to have them pointing at the walls and floor to cover the room, it's darn near impossible to find a way to do that without having beams hit your eyes if you look in that direction. I think maybe mounting a bulb socket somewhere towards the top of your wall would work.Ideally, I think these work best in ceiling mounted sockets that point down to the floor or in lights that point directly or mostly upward, in regards to vision/safety at least. If you're looking for something to point at walls, you might wanna check out the USB powered BlissLights. I ended up getting three of those and using a USB hub mounted on the back of my TV to have stars all bursting out from behind the TV. Looks great!I have the regular bulb in a lamp that has a shade sort of like a bowl, so you don't see the bulb at all and when the lamp turns on, it's a nice burst on the ceiling. All in all, there's a lot of versatility with these and you can let your creativity go wild with it. They have very solid construction and I've got no complaints about the build or function at all.

Beautiful BUT I now (no longer updated below!) have concerns...
UPDATE: They DID quickly and kindly send me another bulb and thankfully that one has been going in full glory every since! Sorry I forgot to update this for so long :0. It is a fantastic bulb and I intend to never be without it! The photo doesn’t do it justice - the light specks are super sharp and bright so it literally looks like glitter 💜We bought our first one in Nov. 2017 and it lasted until early this year - it was consistently beautiful and used at least 4 out of every 7 nights for hours on end. When it did die I couldn't stand it for more than a couple weeks because this thing truly is dazzling and kinda life changing when it works....so I ordered another in April. This is where my concern comes in - that one died on me just the other night, barely (if even) 2 months in. While I can't imagine life without it I also can't imagine spending this price for something that only lasts a couple months at best. I've contacted customer service and hope that this will be easily resolved and that I just landed a rare wonky bulb and the quality otherwise remains as it was for our first one. Therefore, I will update this after this matter is resolved and again a few months in (providing the bulb is replaced so I can know). I honestly hope so very much that this ends well because, like I said - once you have a room lit with one of these it's really really hard to imagine going back to life without it. Providing my current situation is a fluke - this is hands down worth the money.....soooo, to be continued....

Great product to add a fun twist to lighting projects.
I utilized this bulb to add a fun "star scape" type flair to a custom built lamp. The lamp was designed with a Phoenix Rising theme. Blue and white Phoenix vase mounted on a charred driftwood base. The green starlight bulb was inset inside of the vase to be overlooked until turned on.Great product will utilize these bulbs in future designs.

Stars for cheap
Nice, inexpensive. Not too bright or too dim. Static pattern is a little obvious, the lights are a clearly visible grid pattern. However, use two, overlapping, and it becomes more random appearing and pleasing. BLISS has been making lasers for years, and quality has been good. These seem well made. Beware using outdoors - they are supposed to tolerate rain, but read the reviews about failures.

"Bliss" Lights is right (for this product)
This is the third BlissLights product I've ended up getting for my home, and I'm super happy with it. It's bright blue, I can see it even when I let sunshine in through the window, it's perfectly compatible with a normal lamp I just aimed at my ceiling from my desk, and I leave it on basically all the time and it doesn't overheat or show signs of wear.I do have a warning about their Customer Service, though. Unfortunately, I got this product to offset the amount of green in my BlissLights SkyLite, which Customer Service refuses to help me replace the power cord for (even after I explicitly said I was willing to pay for it). I much preferred my SkyLite, and it's what convinced me this brand's other products were worth buying. But now I can no longer use my SkyLite, and I would really rather not have to buy a second just because they can't sell me a replacement cord nor direct me to somewhere else I could buy one. Also unfortunately, I cannot in good conscience leave a review saying so on the correct product, as it was bought for me as a gift from someone else, and therefore I do not have the "Verified Purchase" label for it.So, good products, but BE WARNED: CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT UP TO PAR.

Nice ambient lighting
I use a color-changing LED bulb to add ambient lighting for one of my rooms. For the sake of variety, I decided to replace the LED light with a BlissBulb and am not disappointed. It adds a bit of entertainment and magic to a dark room. It's used mainly during the holiday season and the bright, green pinpoints of light are very appropriate for that time of year. Rated to last 8000 hours, I've run it for every day two straight holiday seasons during nighttime and the bulb is still going strong. I've purchased a second one as a replacement for when the current bulb stops functioning.

It’s OK for a little corner in the room
Not too happy with that cause it’s not what I was expecting
