I used to have a love-hate relationships with the maybelline foundations that I've tried in the past and it always used to oxidize on me but this certain foundation is different for me. It actually works! It still oxidizes on me but i got the perfect shade for me even after the oxidation. Long lasting. Good coverage and not overly matte. though it's a lumi matte foundation, it still gives off a skin like healthy finish.

Se siente ligera, cómoda y se adapta muy bien incluso en climas cálidos. Sin duda es una versión mejorada y ahora es de mis favoritas. ¡La recomiendo totalmente!

This foundation works very nicely on mature skin. I have used it twice without mixing it with a lighter L'Oreal shade.I bought a shade that's a bit dark for my skin, but because I had the "too light" L'Oreal that I liked, I use a mixture for daytime wear. I'm quite happy with the mixture during the day, but wearing just the Maybelline looks great and feels great for evening wear. The Maybelline doesn't settle in fine lines or wrinkles when you apply the foundation properly with a brush. Application of the product is easy and takes very little time. It looks nice when applied with a sponge, too, but I prefer the results I get when using a brush.I typically wear a natural look that looks blurred & smooth. I get that results with this foundation.I am 64. My skin type is the oily T-zone and with normal to dry skin everywhere else.The price point for the quality is more than fair. It's a steal, so give it a try!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have mature skin. That is, I never took care of it, tanned way too much, etc. In the last couple of years, I've noticed my pores are appearing larger. I have been trying multiple foundations that are advertised as for "mature skin" or "color-matching", only to be disappointed. I saw this Maybelline Super Stay Lumi-Matte Foundation reviewed on quite a few websites and I figured, what do I have to lose? Other foundations that I have tried just did not look right because of color or, worse yet, settling into wrinkles.I am so happy that I gave this foundation a try. I have slightly olive-toned skin and did not want a "pinkish" tone so I chose the #129 - Neutral Cool color. It was a perfect match!!! It seemed to go on light but then develops to a more natural (and not pink) tint.As I said, I have "mature skin" and have developed deep smile lines and moderate crows feet. This foundation, paired with Maybelline Super Stay Liquid Concealer (SS Concealer #30) and Rimmel London Stay Matte - 003 - Primer has made a huge difference with those smile lines and the crows feet are now barely visible.I put a dab or two onto a makeup disk and then apply the foundation with a brush and it goes on smoothly. The liquid is not too thick & not too thin. But, the thing that I am most happy with is that it is a perfect match for my skin color. As I said, the color/tint appears light when you first apply it so, don't keep applying more. It'll change. You can build on it, though. I have not needed to. It seems to last about 10-12 hours without needing any correction. With it's matte finish, it does not look like I have foundation plastered over my entire face. It evens out my ruddy skin to a perfect finish and tone.The only thing that I do not like is the bottle's cap. It feels pretty fragile to me.I truly wish I that I had found this earlier. I am so happy with the color match and the final matte appearance.

I've tried numerous foundations and this one is great. Gives the right amount of coverage without looking cakey. I've been a fan of this brand and other products and this one is the best so far. I'm in my 40's and my skin is obviously not the same as when I was in my 20's. With the right skin-prep this foundation laid beautifully on my skin and lasted hours. This is amazing for the price!! Try it...you won't regret it.

Best foundation ever! When applied it gives a smooth even medium coverage. Fills in pores, leaves a natural look and lasts all day (probably 30 hours as advertised if I wore my makeup that long). For reference I am 63 with dry skin, I don't use a primer, just a little facial oil, vitamin C serum and sunscreen. I hope they never stop making this product.

Maybe…Maybelline should go back to old formula.It looks good when first applied BUTThis one just doesn’t stay put, unless it’s on clothes, light switches, my husband face etc…🙄I use to love this foundation when it had the white top. I have combination skin with oily T zone.The old formulaIt had better coverage and lasting power. Was thick and dried fast with staying power that lasted most of the day.New formulaThis doesn’t even make it past a few hours despite prepping, priming, and setting.It leaves my skin oily even after using a charcoal based primer and setting spray.It comes out watery not like the old thick formula.I would say because of the watery texture it glides on easily but it doesn’t stay on.It just isn’t the same as the old formula. I use it for now, but a huge disappointment.Also the bottle doesn’t last long either. I find myself running low where the bottle looks full but the pump just makes a mess.I would say that while it doesn’t stay.It does give a nice finish and it doesn’t look cakey and that is the reason I gave three stars.Value isn’t there only because it doesn’t last nearly as long. And it transfers badly.Just disappointed in the new formula.
