needed a set of cheap cables for my second welder and these work well. I had to trim the rubber a little around the connectors so they easily mate with the welder.

Great for homeowners
The build quality on these are great. They fit my little cheap welder and they’re pretty easy to use. They’re not going to win any contests but for a homeowner that just needs to pack some things here and there and do a few welds a year they work great.

GREAT SIMDER REPLACEMENT ITEMS
THE SIMDER STRIKER FOR STICK WELDING IS VERY WELL MADE, HEAVY DUTY TO SAY THE LEAST, THIS IS THE ONE THAT SHOULD HAVE COME WITH THE UNIT. THE GROUND CABLE ON THE OTHER HAND IS ANOTHER STORY, THIS IS LOOKS CHEAPER AND LESS DURABLE THAN THE ORIGINAL GROUND.4 STARS ARE THE RESULTS OF THE GROUND IN THE SET.

Works nicely
I’ve used this stinger a few times now and it seems to fit my hand pretty well. It isn’t a great difference from my old stinger, but the trigger to set and release the rods works very well.

Cheaply made and not for regular use
The media could not be loaded. These are no good for regular use. First off they do not hold sticks like they say. They come out easily. Second, the part that supposed to squeeze in the electrode is not made for electrodes under 5/32 and it is cheap metal that has burned away within 2 months of use to an unusable state for any size stick. Third, the button has stopped working as well. Do not buy if you weld regularly. They were on to something with the handle and grip, but decided to go cheap with the parts and it renders this stinger useless. Bummer

Great design could use a head with different rod groves for different angles but works well
